Crock Pot Chex Mix

Ok, I know it's not Autumn yet but I start to get in the mood for Fall by August every year. Fall is the perfect time to bring out that crockpot and what better way to put it to use than with some scrumptious Crock Pot Chex Mix all warm and toasty!

Makes 16 cups
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups Corn Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Wheat Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Cheez-its crackers
  • 3 cups pretzel sticks
  • 1 can mixed nuts
  • 1 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
  1. Mix all three Chex cereals, Cheez-its, pretzel sticks, and mixed nuts in a 6-quart or larger slow cooker.
  2. Whisk together vegetable oil or butter, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt and garlic powder and pour over cereal mixture. Mix it up well!
  3. Cook uncovered on high for approximately 90 minutes, stirring often.
  4. Turn the slow cooker down to low and cook for another 20 minutes, again stirring often.
  5. Spread on a cookie sheet to cool.

Eat and enjoy!
