Welcome to my blog! Maybe I'm a lot like you: I'm a wife and a new mom who is learning how to be both day by day. Sometimes I do a great job in my new roles and other days it's a definite learning experience. I also try to balance work and a multitude of hobbies and interests with my family life and enjoy documenting these adventures. I chose the name "Aspens In Autumn" because there is no scene I enjoy more in life than rows and rows of aspen trees and my love for Autumn knows no limit! I'm getting excited for fall just thinking about it.
This blog serves as a journal of the journey and as a way to share my experiences with others to learn from each other and also just for the fun of it!
Married two years to my sweet husband, we reside in Seattle with our 9 month old baby girl. I'm a huge advocate for mental illness awareness and outreach. In my free time I enjoy painting (paintings for sale can be found in my Etsy shop here), interior design, all things holiday related, throwing parties and enjoying the outdoors with my husband. I'm a big believer that women should always make time for themselves :)
